Damsel Socks
Damsel Socks
One of the oldest tropes out there is the ‘damsel in distress’--a young, beautiful woman held captive by some nefarious figure, with nothing to do but wait fr someone to save her. It doesn’t have the best reputation, especially in modern times, however, I’ve always been partial to stories about damsels who buck the tradition of waiting for a savior and instead become their own salvation.
These socks seem well-suited to the modern damsel, knit from the toe up with an all-over pointelle lace pattern and topped with a ruffle cuff. But don’t be deceived by the frills and daintiness--these socks are versatile, sturdy, and with multiple options for the toes and heels, they’re sure to be a perfect fit for you.
